These performance pants are crafted from a unique tech ripstop made by the experts at Olmetex. a world-renowned mill established in 1954 in Italy's Como region. Ripstop is a military innovation. often used in uniforms and parachutes — it's woven using a special technique that creates a fine crosshatch pattern. making it both lightweight and incredibly resistant to tearing. There are plenty of practical pockets: two gusseted camp pockets at each side. with additional waterproof zippered pockets on top (pockets on pockets!). and two zippered back pockets. too. The fit is a little parachute pant: wide and roomy through the hip and thigh before tapering at the ankle. where there are power cords to cinch them shut. A favorite detail: the magnetic closure at the waist.
